Delivering industry-leading precision and efficiency, the E820 servo press machine is built for high-strength riveting applications.
Driven by a full electric servo system, it reduces energy consumption by up to ninety percent while maintaining clean, oil-free operation. Real-time pressure and position monitoring ensure consistent, high-quality riveting, even on stainless steel and high-strength steel workpieces. With an adjustable force range of 80 kN and a 500 mm throat depth, the E820 accommodates the vast majority of sheet metal workpieces, enabling the production of higher-quality, more refined products.

Process Traceability & Monitoring
The system enables full-process traceability by saving force-displacement curve data in real-time for each cycle. This allows for complete process replay and analysis, with multiple detection modes to identify material tolerance issues or positional deviations.
Batch Anti-Leakage System
A preset piece counter tracks the required fasteners per part. The system counts down with each operation, automatically resets upon completion, and triggers a buzzer alarm to prevent missed rivets and ensure part integrity.

This function allows the servo press to maintain a constant pressure for a set duration after reaching the programmed force level, before the tool retracts.
It addresses a fundamental challenge in riveting: material springback. When joining materials like stainless steel or aluminum, the joint can loosen over time if the material elastically recovers after pressing. The dwell function provides the sustained pressure needed for the material to fully yield and undergo stress relaxation. This results in a permanent and reliable mechanical lock, effectively preventing future loosening of the joint.
Our modular auto-feeding control system delivers a highly flexible and efficient automation solution for servo presses. It offers broad compatibility with PEM-style clinch fasteners (nuts, screws, studs) from M2 to M8. By selecting different feeding modules, it readily handles various processes, including standard upward feeding (for nuts, screws, studs), special upward feeding for short studs, and downward-feed with position avoidance for nuts. We also support custom feeding solutions for non-standard fasteners. An advantage is the system’s full tooling compatibility with common hydraulic models, allowing for the direct use of existing automatic tools.
The automatic lower die change system consists of two core components: the lower die library and the access mechanism. Both are driven by servo motors, lead screws, and linear guideways to move to the fixed die access port rapidly. An air cylinder ejects or retracts the lower die from the library, and the access mechanism quickly delivers the lower die to its working position, enabling fast and automated lower die replacement.
The samples below are produced on the E820 servo-driven fastener insertion machine, using real production parts rather than test coupons.
Each fastener is installed with controlled force and precise depth, consistent joint quality without surface deformation or material stress.
This level of repeatability is especially important for thin sheet metal, coated parts, and precision assemblies, where insertion accuracy directly affects product quality.

Your questions about our fastener insertion machines, answered by our experts.
Yes. The E820 is a servo-driven fastener insertion machine designed for applications where insertion force and depth must be tightly controlled.
It is widely used for thin sheet metal, coated parts, aluminum components, and precision assemblies where consistency and surface protection are keys.
Servo control allows the insertion force, speed, and stroke position to be precisely programmed and monitored in real time.
Unlike pneumatic systems, the E820 servo insertion machine delivers consistent results from the first part to the last, without variation caused by air-pressure fluctuations.
When properly set, the E820 inserts fasteners without visible surface deformation or coating damage.
The controlled force profile prevents over-pressing, making it suitable for painted, plated, and decorative parts.
