The Handheld Portable Spot Welding Machine is designed for large workpieces, on-site repair, and flexible welding applications. With a handheld welding gun, the workpiece does not need to be moved, improving operation convenience and welding efficiency.
Compared with traditional stationary spot welders, it features a smaller footprint and greater flexibility, making it ideal for repair welding, small-batch production, and large metal workpieces.

Earth line
The earth line connects the welding machine to the workpiece. It provides a safe return path for the welding current, completing the electrical circuit.
Torch line
The torch line connects the welding power source to the handheld welding torch. It carries high welding current and, in many cases, cooling water to the torch.
Electrodes
High-quality copper electrodes offer excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, ensuring strong, consistent welds.
Spot Welding Gun
For pinch-type handheld spot weld, the extended welding arm clamp is an optional accessory that replaces the standard fixed electrode arm. It significantly increases the reach of the welding gun, allowing the operator to access deep or narrow areas on the workpiece that are otherwise unreachable with a standard arm.
Roller Electrode
For handheld seam welding, the roller electrode attachment replaces the standard fixed electrodes with one or two rotating copper-alloy wheels. As the operator manually pushes the welding gun along the workpiece, the roller electrode rolls across the metal surface while delivering continuous welding current.
Your questions about our resistance spot welding, answered by our experts.
1.Check whether the input voltage is normal.
2.Check whether the connecting points such as electrodes, welding gun, and cables are tightened properly.
3.Check whether the cable connectors have partial cable breakage that reduces the cross-sectional area of the cable — repair if necessary.
Overheating requires immediate attention to prevent equipment damage:
1.Cooling system issues: For water-cooled units, check water pressure, flow rate, and supply temperature. Inspect the water circuit for blockages
2.Poor contact resistance: Oxidized contact surfaces between copper braids, electrode arms, and holders increase resistance and generate excessive heat
3.Worn electrode tip: Excessive tip diameter increases current draw and causes overload
4.Excessive duty cycle: The welding thickness or load duration may exceed the machine’s rated duty cycle
5.Insulation failure: Check for poor insulation resistance between electrode holders and the machine body
